I was brought on board to the GCOS team to create a graphical and motion standard for the GlassCourt OS coaching content for their Athletes Lab in Orlando.
I animated in After Effects initially, and later created additional assets in Rive to work with lighter-weight assets for the Unity pipeline.
Player indicators, feedback animations, timers and many more graphical elements were all built to serve the purpose of players being able to train in confidence.
I was also tasked with designing examples of popular plays for a Playbook app. We decided a clean, flat, minimal approach was needed to keep from distracting but were easy to follow and understand. It was nice to take an American sport away from the 3D, glossy, futuristic style that seems to have been there for such a long time.
